I’m watching the Capitol Climate Action on live stream now from D.C. Amazing! “We shall not be moved!”, they are singing right now. This is such a courageous, inspiring group– taking a stand to save the earth for future generations! They have 3 of 5 gates occupied NOW, and they are planning to cross the line and shut the coal plant down. The results of this PowerShift are already starting to flow; Nancy Pelosi just announced a few days ago that she wants to immediately shift the Capitol to be powered by natural gas instead of coal. Its a great start! I want to share my favorite chant:
“Climate Change, What’s the solution? Green Jobs Revolution! Poverty, what’s the solution? Green Jobs Revolution! Eco-Justice, what’s the solution? Green Jobs Revolution! Oil Wars, what’s the solution? Green Jobs Revolution!
